The Halo BLH and DLH Guitars (single cutaway):
The Halo BLH
The Halo BLH Semi-Hollow Body Guitar was one of the original models in the first-ever Halo product lineup when the company was formed in 2004.
Those early models could be distinguished by their headstock "logo," which was a silk screen of "Halo Guitars" across the headstock.
There is meaning behind the name BLH - it's an acronym for our company's founder and president, Belinda Lee... BLH = Belinda Lee Halo.
The widest part of the BLH body is 420mm (~ 16.5"), which is about the same width as an ES-335.
The Halo DLH
The Halo DLH Semi-Hollow Body Guitar is a newer model that was added to the Halo product lineup earlier this year (2016).
There is also meaning behind the name DLH - it's an acronym for my late father, Danny Lee (DLH = Danny Lee Halo), whom without the support, Halo might not even exist.
In fact, the commercial property he purchased in Cupertino is the same property where we continue to do much of our work today - it houses our offices, guitar tech stations, showroom, warehouse, etc.
The DLH design is essentially a smaller BLH with the widest part of the body being 390mm (~ 15.25"). For reference, an ES-339 is about 355mm, or 14".
