We are a small and dedicated team in Cupertino that designs and makes custom electric guitars for customers all around the world.

JOB DESCRIPTION - $14/hour, Part Time, with opportunity to become Full Time

GUITAR TECHNICIAN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Transform partially-built guitars into ready-to-sell guitars so they look and perform their best.

GUITAR TECHNICIAN JOB DUTIES:
• Inspect guitars for major functional and cosmetic flaws
• Perform full fret work (slotting, seating, beveling, leveling, crowning, polishing)
• Install hardware and electronics into guitars
• Perform full set up (neck relief, string action and intonation)
• Test all electronics and controls for proper functionality on a guitar amplifier
• Clean and polish guitars
• Document actions by completing forms and keeping records
• Increase job knowledge through co-workers and self-study
• Accomplish company mission by completing miscellaneous tasks as needed

GUITAR TECHNICIAN SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Dependability, Luthier Skills, Fine Motor Skills, Organization, Time Management, Documentation
Skills, Teamwork, Communication Skills.

* Guitar tech/repair and luthiery experience is a huge plus, but not necessarily required as we will provide training and all necessary tools to accomplish the job.
