A customer asked if we could make parts or a guitar for a 22.5" scale. We don't have any models with that scale length currently, but it can be custom ordered.
Here are links to our custom products that are available in a 22.5" short scale length:
Some background on short scale guitars...
First off, what is scale length? The scale length of a guitar is the distance between the nut and the bridge of the guitar. The longer the scale length, the higher the tension on the strings and the brighter the sound. Conversely, shorter scale lengths have lower tension and a warmer sound as a result. String bends are also easier on short scale necks due to the lower tension. Short scale guitars are good for players with smaller hands or for players who are after that unique feel and tone that only short scale guitars offer.
NOTE: we consider short scale guitar necks to be 24.75" or shorter; most short scale necks are somewhere between 22.5" and 24.75" in length.

Hi. I'm interested in a custom neck. While your website mentions using the custom neck page to oder a 22.5" neck, I was not able to find that scale option. Thanks, Mike Sleva Seal Beach, CA
Hi Mike - sorry about that, in this case, please select any scale length for now, and type 22.5" into the special instructions and we'll accommodate. No extra charge. We'll work on making a way for alternate scale lengths to be selected in a way that makes sense. Thank you, - Halo
