5 out of 5 Stars!

“I have absolutely fallen in total love with my Halo Seraphim-8. I love its fanned fret/multi-scale design. The guitar arrived in Maryland from California perfectly in tune and intonated; and it was sent during the middle of summer. The way the guitar is set up with its low action and 74-10 gauge strings feels great! The pickups are perfectly voiced for metal, and deliver a concise, clear, and articulate tone even when heavily distorted and/or drop tuned! I usually play in F# standard, but occasionally drop the F# down to E (a la Animals As Leaders), and the Seraphim delivers high quality tone and has met my demands as a player of a variety of genres from jazz to extreme metal! The neck and fretboard feel great, even though I have small hands, I am able to easily access all strings/notes/frets with ease. I really cannot say enough about my adoration for this instrument!”

Advantages:

  • Multi-scale/fanned fret design
  • Great action and intonation
  • Easy access to all frets
  • Neck feels great

Disadvantages:

  • Pick-ups may be too hot for some, but can be lowered to make them cooler... Some may not like the non-traditional body shape.
